Philip Glass - Icct Hedral (Aphex Twin cover)
I have been listening to a lot of Philip Glass lately. I have a weird way of discovering new music. No real effort involved, I just kinda come across it. It’s like I just trust the world around me to act as a musical reddit. JJ is especially helpful.
I’ve had fantastic success so far by stumbling from artist to artist and this particular song is what turned me onto Philip Glass. I’ve been an Aphex Twin fan for a long time and Icct Hedral is one of my favorite Aphex songs, but I think this orchestrated version, which came on Aphex’s Donkey Rhubarb might actually be better than the original!
